Our school has 274 teachers. They grew up playing Minecraft and Roblox themselves. Every one of them was selected for their subject expertise and trained to work with kids aged 5 to 17. This page tells you who they are, how they join us, and how they work with children.

Knowing Python and being able to teach it to an eight-year-old are two different skills. That's why every candidate goes through three stages.

Felix is very wary of clubs and classes. He never wants to go anywhere on his own. He's very shy and gets nervous around adults. He doesn't open up to just anyone, but he really bonded with Nikolai. Nikolai is a lovely young man: he quickly puts a child at ease, explains things clearly, listens, and stays calm.

Quiet, shy kids get a teacher who knows how to draw them out: they'll do most of the talking at first, never push, and show that it's okay to make mistakes in class.

Usually, after two or three lessons, these kids turn on their mic by themselves and tell everyone what they've made.

And my son says: "Mom, let's go to the neighbors'. I don't want to miss my lesson!"

That's why we never have to push our students. They sit down at the computer 15 minutes before class without being reminded.

At a typical school

The child just follows orders: "Click here, now here, now here." The lesson moves along, buttons get clicked, but the child doesn't understand what they're doing or why. A month later, they don't want to go anymore.

Our teachers don't dictate or hand out ready-made answers. They ask: "What do you think we should do next?" The child figures it out and makes their own choices, like what the design and characters in their game will look like.
