To move from idea to practice, you need a Roblox account and Roblox Studio installed. After logging in to the website, click
Create in the top menu, then click
Create again on the projects page. That takes you to the section where all your projects are made and stored.
If Roblox Studio isn't installed yet, the system will prompt you to download it. Once installation is complete, a list of your projects will appear — every game you create will be saved here.
Before launching a new project, a few questions are worth thinking through:
- Who is the main audience — the child themselves, their friends, or anyone on Roblox?
- How long should the level be — a short challenge or a full story?
- Will there be in-game currency, like coins that unlock upgrades or new areas?
A short conversation like this helps approach game creation with a clear picture of what the finished product should look like.
